Hello everyone, my name is Dr. Anupreet Kaur, and I am a consultant pathologist at Amandeep Group of hospitals and Amandeep Medicity. 2. I am Dr. Renuka Bajaj, and I am working as a clinical microbiologist at Ampath lab, Amandeep Medicity. 3. I have done an MD in microbiology, and today it’s been more than 16 years of my working in the diagnostics field. 4. Our main aim while working in this lab is to provide a quality, accurate, and timely diagnosis to the patients of Amritsar so that they can be provided with appropriate medical services. 5. Hello, I am Dr. Pallvi, and I am working here as a consultant pathologist. 6. I have a total of five years of experience with post MD pathology, and I have been working here for one year. 7. Today, I will tell you about the laboratories that are running in our hospitals. 8. At all, our three locations that are Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar, Amandeep Medicity in Amritsar, and Amandeep Hospital in Pathankot, fully state of the art and automated laboratories are present under Ampath Labs. 9. We are getting the entire guidance to run the laboratories, perform quality practices, and accurate diagnostics from UPMC, i.e., University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the USA. 10. Our laboratories work 24X7, and in total, we have eight doctors at all the three locations out which two are microbiologists and remaining are pathologists who are available 24X7 for urgent care and diagnostics, 11. We have more than 40 technicians who work day and night to provide accurate and precise results. 12. We are working under rigorous and stringent quality protocol so that all our generated reports are reproducible and accurate and help make a proper diagnosis of patients. 13. Other than this, we have several in-house tests available that can be categorized as routine and specialized tests. 14. We have more than 2500 tests in our DOS that we either perform here or at our parent lab situated in Hyderabad. 15. If we are not able to perform a particular test in India, we send it to UPMC, USA. 16. We have here routine and specialized biochemistry, hematology, serology, microbiology, immunology, cytopathology, and an in-house histopathology lab with cyto-technicians and histo-technicians where the microscopy and histology of all the surgical specimens are done. 17. Talking about microbiology, we are performing all automated cultures. 18. Although we have the provision of Conventional cultures, we are trying to shift everything to a fully automated system. 19. All our routine tests are performed on fully automated systems and on which we keep a proper quality check. 20. Another great thing our laboratories are equipped with is Genexpert Plus, which has been approved and recommended by WHO and GOI for the TB endemic countries for the diagnosis of TB. 21. We are open to walk-in patients and other hospitals for performing specialized tests. 22. We are continuously working with our consultants so that our communication related to tests and urgent investigations with doctors is always on time. 23. So, the patients can have a timely diagnosis and substantial treatment. 24. We believe that quality diagnostics with clinical correlation is the key to treat and improve the healthcare system of India. 25. We are constantly working on it.
