Part 2 Explains adding a Circuit Track:    • Marklin M84 Decoder Part 2: adding Circuit...   We show you how to set an address, and how to register the M-84 to the CS3 Central Station from Marklin. We also show how to use the 8 inputs for manually switching the relays (similar to the 7244 universal relay). These inputs on the "topside" of the decoder can be activated by push button switches, contact tracks, reed-switches and more. They allow an analog activation of the particular port on the decoder, much like activating a relay in the old days. You can find this decoder on our website: https://ajckids.com/products/marklin-... The operation of the older K-84 decoders is in principle the same. They will not have the feedback to the CS3, because they lack the MFX feedback function. But this video may still help you in explaining the basic operation of these decoders.
