Parkrun | Uditore Park (Palermo, Sicily) - November 2025

Join me for a speeded up point of view run at Uditore Parkrun. This was their 445th event and my 141st. Uditore Parkrun in held in Uditore Park, in Palermo, Sicily. We were staying in the center of Palermo and walked to the park which was 2 miles. There is public transport in the city, with a tram which goes close to the park, but you need to buy tickets in advance of using the system from kiosks around the city. The course is relatively flat and four laps. The going is good with gravel and tarmac paths although there is one short section through a play park which is sand, although it was relatively firm underfoot. As usual for a Parkrun, it was slightly congested at the start but soon spread out. Although this may have been added to by the fact there was a half-marathon and a marathon in the city the following day and another parkrun in the city had been cancelled which may have contributed to the number of people taking part.
