Episode 2 – Into the Depths and Up the Peaks | The 395 Adventure (Off-Road Jeep Overlanding Series) In this episode of the 395 Adventure, we take off-road exploration to new extremes—2,500 feet underground and 11,000 feet above sea level. Our journey starts inside an abandoned gold mine from the early 1900s, hidden deep in the mountains of California. With only headlamps lighting the way, we explore the dark tunnels and forgotten history of the miners who once worked there. It’s a raw, eerie experience that feels like stepping back in time. Once we resurface, the adventure climbs fast—literally. We hit a rough and rocky Jeep trail leading to over 11,000 feet in elevation, surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. The trail pushes our rigs, our patience, and our problem-solving skills to the limit as we deal with mechanical issues miles from civilization. But that’s part of the journey. With teamwork and determination, we make it through. We end the day camping beside a crystal-clear mountain lake, cooking amazing meals at camp, and sharing laughs and a late-night card game under the stars. These are the moments that make every challenge worth it—the reason we love overlanding, camping, and exploring remote trails like this one. If you love Jeep adventures, overlanding California, off-road camping, or 4x4 exploration, this episode is for you. 👉 Watch now and join the adventure.
