When Jesus Christ healed the ten lepers, He didn’t declare them healed on the spot. He told them to go and show themselves to the priest—and as they went, they were healed. Their obedience activated healing in motion. That is process. Scripture also tells us that believers will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Recovery implies movement, time, and progression. Healing may begin in a moment, but it often matures through a journey. That, too, is process. Consider Joseph. God gave him a dream of leadership and influence, yet the fulfillment of that dream passed through betrayal, injustice, waiting, and endurance. The dream was real—but so was the preparation. God was shaping Joseph’s character to sustain the calling ahead of him. The process is not punishment. It is preparation. God is not delaying your answer—He is developing your capacity. What feels slow is often sacred. What feels hidden is often holy. So don’t fight the process. Trust it. God responds to our prayers, but always in His timing and His way.
