Hi, this is Dominique D'Vita with YesTantra.com. In addition to being a certified Tantra coach, I am a registered nurse. Today, I'm going to be teaching you about the Breath of Fire. The breath of fire is a cleansing, purifying breath. It's a great detoxifier. Some of the ways that we cleanse our system, to get rid of toxins and filter them out, is through urination (when we pee), defecation, (when we shit), and respiration (with our breath). Starting your day with breath of fire can energize you throughout the day. And it's a great thing to do in the middle of the afternoon when you have a slump and you may need a nap. Or you feel like you might want to take an extra cup of coffee. But you know that if you drink that coffee, you will really pay for that later at night when you are trying to go to sleep. Instead of doing that, turn to doing the breath of fire. Also, it's really great to boost your self-confidence if you're about to speak or give a presentation, or have an important conversation. You can just take a moment, go to the bathroom, and just do even a one-minute round of this breathing exercise and see how it supports you. And you're going to want to build up to being able to do this for at least three minutes and then people that are more skilled with this, you can build up to having a practice of doing it for 31 minutes in the morning and it really will set you up for an amazing day and you'll just really connect more into your personal power. A few other benefits of the breath of fire… It helps with digestion. It helps to increase our body heat. It's a great way to start your day and it helps to balance your energies, your masculine, your feminine energies. It helps you to face the day with having more balance within your emotions, more resilience. And it's really a great purifier for your whole system. You'll just see how this impacts your life in so many profound ways. I look forward to hearing from you how this impacts your life. Important Safety information: A few things to be aware of is that if you do have high blood pressure, you may want to consult with your physician before trying a practice like this. Be sure that you are monitoring your blood pressure and taking your medications as prescribed. And if you are on your period or you are pregnant, you're going to want to either skip this practice or if you do it, just do it with a more gentle breath, not something so forceful. Don't do this method if you are pregnant or have sinus issues. Don't take the method and techniques too lightly, they go deep and the effects can have a huge impact. Don't do the breathing exercises in a swimming pool, before going underwater, beneath the shower or piloting any vehicle, without proper supervision. Always practice in a safe environment. Keep in mind to do the exercises without forcing them, gradually build up and don't exceed your limits. Do not practice the method during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions, should always consult a medical professional before starting any new practice.
