One week after the Maah Daah Hey 100 — one of the hardest races of my life — I lined up for the Hollo Gravel Classic. On paper, it sounded like a terrible idea. Legs still fried, body still broken… but sometimes the story doesn’t go how you expect. From a lost hydration pack nozzle, rationing calories for 75 unsupported miles, and battling through Norwegian Road, this race turned into one of the most meaningful rides of my season.
