14th - 15th Century Leg Armor: Overall Length: 21 5/8'' Width Across Upper Thigh: 8'' Width Across Lower Calf: 5'' 16 Gauge Steel Weight of Individual Leg Armor: 5 lb 4 oz This pair of leg armor consists of a poleyn and cuisse which are constructed from 16 gauge steel plates with rotating rivets for articulation. A set of brass buckles and thick leather straps fit and secure the armor to the leg. An integrated leather tab at the top gives the upper thigh additional padding and chafe protection. Additional protection for the outward sides of the thighs comes with a side plate which is strongly riveted onto the armor with a thick leather band which not only secures it, but allows it to move. http://www.kultofathena.com/product.a... 14th - 15th Century Pauldrons: Overall Length: 11'' Width across shoulder plate: 7 5/8'' Width across upper arm plates: 6 1/2' 16 Gauge Steel Weight of Individual Pauldron: 2 lb 0.8 oz This set of pauldrons are constructed from 16 gauge steel; they are articulated with an internal system of thick and riveted leather banding coupled with a set of sliding rivets fitted into slots for movement. These pauldrons are worn by tying their upper leather tabs to a gorget or cuirass with the included leather cords - this hangs them into position to support their weight and ensures they will not be slide down the arms. A bottom strap and an an antiqued steel buckle secure the pauldrons to the upper arm and allows them to move in tandem with the arm. Please Note: For display on the mannequin this armor has been tied into position so as not to confuse it with other pieces of armor which are not included. A leather glove of black suede leather has been riveted and incorporated into the metal gauntlet. The glove has a top layer of brown, harder leather to protect the suede glove from wear and chafe. The hinges are thick leather which has been stoutly riveted and anchored into position. A set of adjustable straps and durable antiqued steel buckles both don these greaves and adjust them to size.
