Happy baking! 🧑🏻🍳 🍰 Turn ON Subtitles To get Your Language! 🍰 Ingredients: For the cake: Cocoa powder - 4 tablespoons Instant Coffee - 1 tablespoon Hot water - 80ml (⅓ cup) Plain Flour - 225g (1 and ½ cups) Baking powder - 1 and ½ teaspoons Baking soda - ⅓ teaspoon Sugar - 200g (1 cup) Butter - 200g (⅔ cup, 3 tablespoons) Eggs - 4 For the Mocha frosting: Heavy cream - 120ml (½ cup) Dark Chocolate - 100g Instant Coffee - 1 tablespoons Cream Cheese - 115g (½ cup) Measuring cup size - 240ml Baking pan - 20x20cm (8x8 inch) Method: Mix cocoa, coffee and hot water together. Set aside. Add all the dry cake ingredients into a bowl. Mix well. Add all the wet cake ingredients into the same bowl, including the cocoa mixture. Whisk at low speed for about 20-30 seconds. Give it a mix. Whisk again for about 20-30 seconds. Give a final mix. Pour into the lined baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 175c (350f) for about 30-35 minutes. Let the cake cool down completely. Make the Mocha frosting: Add cream, chocolate and coffee granules, into a bowl. Microwave for about 1 minute. Mix well. Let the mocha ganache cool down. In a separate bowl, add the cream cheese. Mix it with the cooled mocha ganache. Whisk for about 1-2 minutes. Let it chill for about 15-20 minutes. Mix the chilled frosting.
