This video takes us on a dreamy, romantic stroll through the charming streets and colonnade along the shores of Lake Constance in Meersburg, Germany. A fairy-tale romantic old town with colorful houses, an old castle /Alte Burg/, a pink castle, a magical harbor on the shore of Lake Bodamsee, surrounded by vineyards, the wine produced in them can be tasted while walking through the town. In Meersburg you feel like you are in a fairy tale. The medieval town of Meersburg is located on the northern shore of Lake Constance. The town has two parts - Upper and Lower Town (Oberstadt / Unterstadt). Both parts are connected by only one steep street and two staircases. Most of the old town is a pedestrian zone. Above is a medieval castle and a more recent baroque castle. Both were the seat of the Bishop of Constance. From the terraces of the castle there is a nice view of the Lower Town and Lake Constance, of Constance and the island of Mainau.
