Sophie Duncan is an award winning choreographer, dancer / acrobat, director and pole / aerial specialist working in the UK and Internationally, predominantly in Circus and Theatre. Previously she has performed with Cirque Du Soleil in EXENTRICKS and Cosmos as dance captain / character and pole dance specialist, was a resident artist in Franco Dragone’s The House Of Dancing Water and dance captain / aerialist for MGM Entertainment’s Destiny, both in Macau, China. She has also performed in Europe, including Pop Circus, (The Roundhouse, London), Gynoïdes (Orionteatern, Stockholm), and more recently assistant director / aerial pole artist for Circus Opera Jingah! for Chloe Charody Creations in Berlin and Nottingham. She collaborates frequently with Romanian Director Horia Suru, of whom she has 7 shows with. Their 2016 show, COLUMBINUS won Best Show at The National Theatre Bucharest’s Teen Theatre Festival.
