Join us on the final leg of our coastal journey! 🌊 After two amazing days in the French Capital of India, Day 3 is all about diving deep into history and the long drive back home. We started our morning in Pondicherry exploring the hidden gems of the White Town. First, we visited the Pondicherry Museum, which is a treasure trove of rare Chola bronzes and Roman artifacts from Arikamedu. We also took a stroll past the majestic Raj Bhavan (Raj Niwas), the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor, to admire its stunning colonial architecture. Then, we hit the road towards Mahabalipuram (Mamallapuram) via the scenic East Coast Road (ECR). The highlight was definitely the UNESCO World Heritage Shore Temple. Standing right against the Bay of Bengal, this 8th-century granite marvel is a sight to behold! Finally, we began our road trip from Pondicherry to Bangalore via Mahabalipuram, sharing the road conditions, best stopovers, and travel tips for anyone planning this drive.
