Northern owns Lac des Iles (LDI) , the only significant graphite producing mine in North America. The Quebec mine is currently producing 15,000tpy of graphite concentrate based on remaining reserves and recently launched an exploration program to investigate promising EM based exploration targets outside of the current mining operation and the potential of extending the mine life. In 2022 Northern acquired 100% interest in the Mousseau graphite deposit, located approximately 80 kms from LDI.
