In week 3 of our series in Colossians, we look at how Paul calls believers to be fully *rooted in Christ*—not just adding Jesus to an already self-directed life, but planting our whole identity in Him. In this message, we look at what it means to walk in Christ, be built up in Him, and avoid the “counterfeit Jesuses” our culture offers—prosperity, political, therapy, tolerant, deconstructed, and universal versions of Jesus that revolve around us instead of Him. We’ll see how Christ alone supplies true growth, how baptism pictures our new life in Him, and how our sin debt has been nailed to the cross so we can live in gratitude and victory.
