Hello, my name is Ellie Griffin. I have been exploring and using the acrylic fluid art technique for the past few years. I particularly love the Dutch pour technique which was introduced by Rinske Douna @RinskeDouna. Her art is amazing!! I have added finger swipes to this technique which is known as a Botanical Dutch pour. This technique originated by Tina inspired Art @TinasInspiredArt. Check it out as it certainly lives up to its name for a botanical feel to the Dutch Pour, just beautiful! I also enjoy discovering other fluid art methods to create beautiful paintings. This painting was a bit of a remake of one I did a few months ago. ( • I can't believe how gorgeous this Dutch po... ) I loved it so much. It was a wedding gift, so I wanted to recreate it with just a touch of difference by adding a couple of extra colours and making it a split base. Most of my paints are acrylic Global paints. This is a brand that is Australian made and easily accessible in most art stores. Base colour is a custom-made using Global paints. In this painting I added Global pouring medium and water. Top colours are Global: White, Paynes grey with metallic pearl. Tahiti Coral with magenta Magenta, Ultraviolet mixed with Metallic pearl, Magenta mixed with metallic black Metallic pearl.
