After getting a good deal on a pile of filament and finding the STL files for a fully 3d printed R2-D2; I decided it was time to make one of my own! Now the real question is; can we print a fully functional R2-D2 and make it for less than $500? Here we are another two weeks or so later and we've made great progress on the 3d printing of the dome and the body.
