From principles like “love thy neighbour” influencing legal systems, to Scripture being embedded within the Houses of Parliament, the Christian foundation of this country runs deep. In the video, I also reflect on the wider implications of removing Christianity from national life — including its role in institutions such as schools, prisons, and public life. More importantly, I highlight that while institutions may change, the truth of the Gospel does not. This is not just about politics — it’s about truth. I also share several key Bible verses, including: Proverbs 14:34 — “Righteousness exalts a nation…” Psalm 33:12 — “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” Hosea 4:6 — “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” These scriptures remind us of the importance of staying rooted in God, both individually and as a nation.
