A meeting was held with all important farmer leaders present to list benefits of farm reforms. The meeting took place in the evening, at the residence of the Union Defence Minister. It was conducted by the Union Agriculture Minister, Narendra Singh Tomar. The farmer leaders expressed confidence over the newly passed farm reforms bills will be helpful to the farmers. The meeting was held since many farmers needed a clarification over the new bill from the government. The current Mandi system isn’t sufficient enough to serve all farmers.
