I love this car. This is the first car that I ever tried to really learn how to do 'sim-rallying' with, in DiRT 1. It is not the easiest car to drive, but it is very responsive and quick. It is also one of my favorite cars in general. My goal with this session was to finish as fast as I could without going outside of the track boundaries, as defined by the mod creator. That is why I'm 'granny driving' the entire time. I think the limits are the road and a grass strip that runs along both sides of it. I did maybe a dozen attempts before I finally finished it. Whenever I got the message that a lap cut was detected I just started over. On my last run, I still hadn't seen the last half of the track, so it was interesting trying to finish without knowing what was coming. This is a 'co-driver appreciation track', if there ever was one. It really drives home the fact that you can't drive fast if you don't know what's over the hill in front of you. I think there's a co-driver mod for this game, but I don't know if it works on every track. Trying to finish this course definitely made me appreciate my other rally games a bit more. This track is pretty good also. It's a little janky, though. There is missing geometry where you can see through the ground in several places, the GrassFX are floating in a lot of areas also. The road mesh seems kind of low poly in a lot of spots, which makes it feel very bumpy and unforgiving at times (or at least it seems that way). There's no TV style replay cameras on the track either. The layout of the track is awesome, though. The length and shape of the course is perfect, in my opinion. I love the people on the sides of the road and the buildings and structures. It's so much fun to drive and to learn. There are a lot of places where it gets very bumpy and you have to be careful. Overall, this is now one of my favorite rally tracks to drive on in any game, and I sincerely hope the mod creator, or someone else, will work on this more to add some little touches and 'pretty it up' a bit. I would love to have a smoother version of this track with some more stuff in the background instead of empty space... but all in all, whoever made this did a great job on this track and I appreciate it. It also runs pretty good on my lower end PC, so if you care more about frame rate than graphics (like I do), then this is a really good track to add to your collection. My time was 10 : 03 : 567 .
