#Uncertainty #Anxiety #Wandering #Hope #Growth #Patience #Vision #Faith #God #Jesus Source 🗓️ Source: Feb 15, 2026 (Sun) Myungsun Church Sunday Service 📝 Sermon Title: "At the Crossroads Toward the Next Step" 👨🏫 Preacher: Senior Pastor Kim Hong-seok 📖 Scripture: Mark 8:22-30 🔗 Sermon Link: https://www.youtube.com/live/KjVq_kXC... Summary ✨Are you anxious because of the uncertainty where you cannot see ahead or the blurry reality? Jesus did not open the blind man's eyes at once but made him whole through two stages. The blurriness now is just a process, not the end. Do not stop but keep walking toward the completion of hope.✨ Is the path you are walking right now a path of suffering and pain? Or is it a smooth and easy path? Whichever path it may be, it is not the final destination. We are simply standing on the way toward the ultimate end. A blind man received the laying on of hands from Jesus. But at first, he saw people looking blurry just like trees walking around. Jesus asked His disciples, "Who do people say I am?" They answered, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah." Jesus laid His hands on him again, and the blind man began to see everything clearly. And Peter confessed, "You are the Christ." Just as healing and confession became perfect in two stages, our salvation also needed the next necessary step called the Cross. Jesus completed our salvation far beyond miracles, through His death and resurrection. Let us not despair in our current suffering, nor be arrogant in our current glory. Standing firmly on the path to hope, let us walk to the very end with faith. Sermon Summary Key Points Content Summary ✦ Jesus took a blind man at Bethsaida outside the village and laid hands on him. After the first laying on of hands, things looked blurry, but only after the second laying on of hands did he see everything clearly. ✦ This is also connected to Peter's confession of faith. The disciples initially knew Jesus as one of the prophets, but gradually moved toward the perfect confession, "You are the Christ." ✦ This event took place at an important turning point (crossroads) where Jesus' ministry moved from the miracle-centered Galilean ministry to the Jerusalem ministry of suffering and the cross. Attitude of Characters ✦ The blind man did not stay in the first stage of imperfect vision but received complete restoration through Jesus' second touch. ✦ Jesus did not stay as the One who performs miracles, but walked the path to complete salvation through the 'next step' of suffering and death. Lessons for Us ✦ Faith is a process that is not completed at once. Even if the reality in front of my eyes looks blurry and uncertain now, it is just a process. ✦ Do not settle for current suffering or glory, but look forward to the certain completion of hope, the Cross and Resurrection, and continue walking the path of faith.
