Over the last few days I've made up 3 of the Dapol '00' 16 ton mineral wagons. These are great little kits and make up quite easily. Apart from price and satisfaction of having made yourself they also offer opening side doors. This alone should tempt more to model them as they are ideal for cameo scenes. I have already noted the middle one had a concentric wheel set now giving a wobble as it runs. These are currently unweighted and if they perform well in testing I'll not add any additional weight. If the chassis has been well made with free running wheels and accuratly placed couplings these should not need weight that only increases the load in long trains. Dad-1
