As with the first game, the primary method of attacking is picking up objects and throwing them at enemies. To add to this, either one of the chipmunks can pick up the other to throw in two player mode. As for the story, Fat Cat manages to escape his imprisonment from the previous game and plans to steal the Urn of the Pharaoh so he can release the evil spirits inside. Only the Rescue Rangers can stop him before he destroys the world.
