🇮🇳 Republic Day Celebration at ‪@openbookfoundation‬ 🎶 The day began with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a respectful Laxmi ji pooja, setting a tone of gratitude, unity, and national pride for the occasion. 🎭 Students presented a series of cultural performances expressing appreciation for Mother India and respect for motherhood, including a powerful presentation on women’s empowerment through the “Mardaani Anthem.” A thoughtful play highlighted the importance of protecting and respecting women, delivered in a sensitive and educational manner. 💃 The celebrations continued with younger children performing a welcoming dance on the song “Welcome” to greet the esteemed chief guests, followed by patriotic dance performances on “Sandeshe Aate Hain” and “Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jawa,” reflecting deep patriotism and love for the nation. ✍️ Another impactful presentation focused on the importance of shiksha (education), conveying how the power of knowledge and the written word can help overcome poverty and social challenges. Students also reenacted a historical moment from the lives of Bhagat Singh ji and Sukhdev ji, honouring their courage and sacrifice for the nation. 🎼 Additional performances included a vibrant group dance by the girls on “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani,” showcasing pride in India’s cultural identity. 🎤 Chief Guest Shri Vikas Chandra ji (District Probation Officer, Mathura) addressed the students, emphasising the importance of voting, civic responsibility, and striving to excel in their chosen careers for the nation’s progress. He also encouraged the children to contribute toward making India more self-reliant through innovation and dedication. 🙏 Dr. Prashant KY ji, son of the Founder of Open Book Foundation, extended gratitude to all honoured guests for their presence, and auspicious garlands were presented to the dignitaries as a mark of respect. 🗞️ During the event, Rtn.
