Lake Contour Map Carving - A CNC Project

A while back I made a trace of a lake from an aerial view and cut the outline on a home built CNC. It looked pretty cool, but I wanted to try a depth contour cut using as few programs as I could and keeping it simple. For this video I used a lake sketch found online. The contours were then traced in Inskcape and run through Jscut www.jscut.org for tool paths. For this cut I used a recently purchased 3040 CNC. It's a fun project. For those without access to a CNC, the contour maps could be printed out, glued to wood, and traced with a rotary tool for the outlines. Thanks for taking a look.
