The Sweet Creek Trail, located about 10 road miles outside of Mapleton, Oregon, is a 2 mile out and back trail studded with cascading water over rock formations. The apex of the trail is Sweet Creek Falls, but the entire length of the trail is an audio and visual delight. My visit was in September, a low flow season for water in the western US, but so spectacular regardless! I can’t wait to revisit this trail in the spring when the water is rushing at full volume!
