Silvana Valtcheva from the New York University presented this talk at the 2020 BNA Festive Symposium, "The seven ages of (hu)man", exploring the neuroscience of ageing through the lifespan. Silvana Valtcheva works on hypothalamic circuits and maternal behaviour. She is specifically interested in how naturally-driven forms of synaptic plasticity prime the maternal brain to respond to sensory cues from infants.
