We recently just bought this upper-lower duplex as a BRRRR deal. The one problem... we had a hoarder tenant living upstairs! This rental property came with its fair share of problems to start as the tenants had not paid rent in over 15 months. We then had our property manager give them both a notice to vacate the duplex. The lower tenant left willingly, but the upper tenant decided to lock us out of the unit & not come out! Because of this, we had to file an eviction against the tenant to remove them from the unit. When the sheriff had come to kick them out, multiple people within the unit were arrested for drug use in the rental, & put in jail!
