The Short answer is: Don't let Gabe lose too much health The video has 3 segments, each one has a purpose, and they're as follows: Timestamps: 0:00 This is "Run A", playing the whole mission, already have the 1st Evidence (Guiding angel), i deliberately let Gabe die and restarted a checkpoint and still got the 2nd Evidence (Sharpshooter). 4:28 This is a different run (Run B), this time i didn't let Gabe die, you'll only see the ending of this run and how although Gabe didn't die and i didn't restart a checkpoint, i didn't get the 2nd Evidence BECAUSE Gabe took too much damage. 5:25 The is a rewinded save state for the same "Run B", only this time i didn't let Gabe take damage to his health (not his flackjacket), so i got the 2nd Evidence. Explanation: This bonus mission is called "Shadowed" and it's unlocked after beating the "Story Mode" on "Hard Mode", the mission has 2 pieces of "Hidden Evidence" the 1st is titled "Guiding angel" and the 2nd is titled "Sharpshooter", you unlock the 1st by simply beating the level so that's easy (Doesn't matter if it's on Normal or Hard Mode). To unlock the 2nd one, well that has been an issue for years, the SF wiki will tell you that you need to "Not let Gabe die" and simply don't restart a checkpoint, see for yourself in this wiki link: https://syphonfilter.fandom.com/wiki/... But as you just saw in the video, i let him die, and still got the 2nd "Sharpshooter" Evidence. I hope i can reach out to the wiki admins and ask them to correct this miss-info. (Update: the wiki admins changed it) So what is the parameter to unlock the 2nd Evidence then? Let's break it down: Each time you see me press start in the video, you can look at the bottom and see the number of Hidden Evidence i have, 1/2 or 2/2, so you can be sure, i have read multiple guides and watched multiple videos about this mission, and read "gamefaqs" comments and asked around within the SF community, no one gave me a real answer, i've read that you have to play the mission on Hard Mode, or kill all the enemies and not let Gabe kill any of them, or do all Headshots, or do not use a scope,...etc, i tried all of those and none worked, sometimes i get the Evidence and sometimes i don't regardless of these supposed parameters, so after long times of testing i pinpointed that the determining factor is actually "Gabe's health bar" Gabe's Health Bar: In Logan's Shadow, they introduced a new mechanic which is that Gabe (or anyone else you play with) can regenerate his health after a few seconds, so in this mission, the amount of times Gabe regenerates shouldn't exceed a certain amount (or simply there might be a hidden health damage counter that shouldn't go below a certain percentage), i don't know exactly how much it is and it's not that important to explore (if you can pinpoint it then please do), simply don't let Gabe take too much damage, it's ok if you kill him accidently or if the enemies kill him and you restart a checkpoint, it's ok to miss shots and use a scope, all good, just don't let him take too much damage and you will succeed, i repeat, it's ok that he takes some damage and it's ok if he regenerates his health maybe a couple of times, just make sure it's as little as you can, keep repeating until you master it. -This test was done on the PPSSPP emulator, so this is the PSP version of Logan's Shadow -Thanks to "LeX" for testing it on the PS2 version, he got the same results so it works on both versions -Normal Mode or Hard Mode are irrelevant, it works on both, Normal mode is just less of a hassle all those years i thought this mission had a glitch, we finally know the answer.
