Tremble at the might of "top boy" --------------------------------------------- Rules: -Chaos mode -Laphicet only (duh) -No items --------------------------------------------- Thoughts: So yeah, I've been working on this for a while and I figured I might as well launch it so I can alternate between this and Zestiria once school starts and my PS3 gets to sit alone in a corner for like a year. I've got a few more of these lined up so this ain't a non-starter, promise. Why Laphicet? Something about him really caught my eye when I first played the JP version (no not like that please don't call the police) and I wanted to find out if there was some sort of hidden potential to this dude. Turns out there isn't. Oh well. I'm exaggerating, obviously. I'm pleasantly surprised by how well Laphicet can handle combat on the frontlines. He's got some nice AoE and range on a lot of his artes. Arctic Peals is a godsend since it's the only arte of his that can knock enemies down, which means a free spell if you can anticipate when it's going to happen (or just luck out like I do 99.9% of the time.) Even if it doesn't knock down it still has a respectable amount of hitstun that will allow a lot of spells to connect. I found Blessed Drops particularly useful since you can cast another spell while the enemy is still being bullied by brawny bastard bubbles. Beating barely bosslike Blondie before biting brutal backhands behooves brilliant boy. I dunno what the fuck happened there. Think I got stung by a B or something. Anyway. Eizen doesn't really get harder as the fight goes on. He starts using Coercion but that's about it. It's such a short fight so we don't really get to appreciate him all that much here. He's got some crazy range on those punches though, holy crap. --------------------------------------------- Other Berseria runs: MrVesperia's Eizen solo: • Playlist Magnus Blade's Rokurou solo: • Tales of Berseria: Rokurou Solo --------------------------------------------- Links Twitter: / pyrehavoc Stream: / pyrehavoc Music Varna (Ar Tonelico 2)
