It goes into details of how you do the Riyaz/Practice of Sa. It also dwells on why is it important to do the Riyaz of SA. And also, how classical singing can be adapted to be useful for light/Bollywood singing and how to practice that with the help of technology - Swar Alap App. The Tutorial Covers Swar Landing, Phrase exit, Voice production, Dhyan/Meditation, Fade in, fade out, etc in detail. You can use our Tabla/Tanpura/Swarmandal/Bollywood Beats app(this is integrated with Swar Alap) from the following link https://play.google.com/store/apps/de... The introductory video in this series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gs7QH... covers the problems that singers face in their singing performance and Riaz(Practice) and how Technology can come to their rescue in enabling them to self monitor their practice in the absence of a Guru/Teacher/Ustad. The 2nd video - Episode #1 https://rebrand.ly/Sing-Pitch-Perfect covered, in addition to the Swar Alap APP feature functionality, concepts of Indian Music system explaining, 12 notes, komal(flat notes) swar, Shudh swar(natural notes), Teevra swar(sharp notes), Saptak(Octave), shruti(microtones) and the Western Music Scale, their relationship, typical range of singers, etc, Sound frequency and its relationship with notes, the normal scale range of female and male singers, etc. The 3rd Video - Episode #2, goes into details of how you can ascertain your Vocal Scale or in Hindustani Music it is called "Mera Sa", where we covered all the 12 notes of an Octave and sang the Indian Sargam(solfege) on each one of the 12 notes(C,C#,D,D#,E,F,F#,G,G#,A,A# and B) from the lower Ni to upper Ga of the Indian Sargam. You could attempt to sing along, on each one of these notes and you would find that your voice comfortably reached from the lower Ni to the upper Ga in some of the scales. That would be your natural scale.
