Here is Lilo's story from TRR: She is a baby around 1 or 2 months old. She was found in Guapiles, her mom was attacked by dogs and sadly passed away. Lilo has a dislocated knee. The vet team is waiting for x-rays, and there is an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. PLEASE READ*** I'm not affiliated with the Toucan Rescue Ranch. So, sadly, due to this, together, we may experience the death of an animal - even doing everything in our absolute power to save them... sometimes nature has another plan in store. From the bottom of our hearts, we understand how easy it is to become emotionally attached to these special animals. But at the end of the day, they are wild animals who deserve the best chance at life back in their home - the rainforest!
