Our day began with a scenic 1.6-mile (2.5 km) trekking hike through dense jungle paths, bamboo forests, and mountain streams. The trail eventually opened up to a quiet waterfall hidden in the middle of the forest. It was the perfect way to absorb the natural beauty of northern Thailand and warm up before the more action-packed part of the adventure. We also launched into a thrilling 5 km white-water rafting trip. The Mae Taeng River greeted us with cool water, rolling rapids, and stunning green canyon walls. Whether you’re an adrenaline seeker or just love exploring nature from a different perspective, this segment of the tour will give you a real sense of being immersed in Chiang Mai’s wild side.
