Drifting on the Lake: MV Greenwing’s Hour Before Port Colborne

This video has a bit of everything in it for you. Audio from ship to ship, pilot boat and Welland Control to Greenwing just idling out on the Lake awaiting her turn to enter Port Colborne. Plus, drone footage. The MV Greenwing was making her way into Port Colborne when suddenly she turned to the East and cut the engine down to idle as she passed south of the Anchored Algoma Strongfield that was having a bow thruster issue. I waited out on the lake watching Greenwind slowly drift by before eventually being given the all clear to proceed. I managed to add quite a bit of the audio for the chatter from the ship to the video. filmed: May 27th 2025. Enjoy.
