On this Open Base Day, as part of the commemorations of the Portuguese Air Force's 70th Anniversary, visitors had the opportunity to watch aerial and canine demonstrations, as well as get to know the various aircraft that operate in the unit, such as the C-130H, the C -295M, the EH-101 Merlin (from the Portuguese Air Force), the Lynx (from the Portuguese Navy) and an unexpected visit from F-16 fighters.
