That fragile sense of safety is shattered when Randeep is killed and the orphanage is destroyed in a sudden act of violence. The event is not presented as spectacle or action, but as an irreversible break — something that changes the meaning of everything that comes after. Dheeraj does not fully witness what happens, but he feels it immediately. Through silence, absence, and confusion, he begins to understand that something is deeply wrong. The loss registers not through explanation, but through instinct — a quiet awareness that the world he trusted no longer exists. Part One focuses on the moment safety disappears. It establishes the emotional foundation of NCT: how violence leaves behind more than damage, how loss reshapes those who survive, and how understanding often arrives before answers.
