This is a longplay of the game Trollie Wallie (1984) by Interceptor Software. The longplay is made on CCS64 emulator with Windows 10 game recorder. No savestates or cheats were used. At the end of the run the controls stopped working for a few seconds after my cat stepped on the keyboard (I still love you Coffee the Cat), hence the menu appearing. The goal is to collect 40 items in a maze-like supermarket. The first 39 items can be collected in any order and when they are collected the way to the 40:th item (a knife) opens up. Even though it's called "Trollie" Wallie, Wallie seems to have forgot his trollie at the register so he can only carry 5 items at once after which he has to go to the register at the bottom right of the map to turn them in, after which he can collect 5 items more. Wallie can walk, climb ladders and jump, there are no weapons. Almost everything kills you - The monsters, the green stuff on the floor and the ceiling, falling from heights (over approx. 1,5 Wallie's height), the green lines (unless you're standing on them), the white bars, even the Wallie look-alike and the falling items from the item production-box will kill you. You have 5 lives to complete the game. Everytime you die you get to start from the bottom left corner of the map but you get to keep all items you have collected. This isn't a speedrun. All deaths are unintentional, even though they are not all wasted since you can collect items you've passed at the beginning of the stage. I get disoriented a few times and go the wrong way but it's hard to remember which items have been collected. The reason I'm jumping straight up before jumping diagonal is because while jumping you can hold the jumpbutton and direction to make Wallie jump diagonal without first taking a step forward which can cause you to fall down the pit or walking into the green floor-things which you are trying to jump over. On the treadmills everytime you jump straight up you get transported 1 pixel forward and many jumps in this game needs to be pixel perfect or you will die. I don't know why greenfly are green or who Siggy or Plexar are, that's a mystery to me too. :) The whole map is used except for the top-leftmost corner, though it has been designed to be used but I guess they left that out in the final version. There are no items there and you cannot get there anyway. Oh, and the flying saucer-item isn't a collectible item, it's a teleporter which brings you back to the bottom of the map. I hope you like this video, haven't seen a longplay of Trollie Wallie so I thought I make this for all you out there who never managed to beat this game. Now I never want to play it again, this successful run took about 100+ tries because since all you out there who have played this game knows it's brutally hard and unforgiving.
