LIVE NOE: U.S. Navy CRUISERS Stormed Into the Strait of Hormuz and Are Clearing Mines The US Navy fleet approached the Strait of Hormuz to clear Iranian underwater mines blocking oil tanker traffic. Modern mines sit on the seabed using magnetic, acoustic, and pressure sensors to detonate beneath passing ships without physical contact. The fleet slowed to minimum speed with all sonar and detection systems active. Cruisers and submarines went to full combat readiness against Iranian drones and missiles. Helicopters swept ahead with towed mine detection equipment while deck gunners, Stinger teams, and snipers covered every angle. Unmanned underwater drones were deployed to scan the seabed, streaming live video to operators on board. Navy EOD divers suited up and went into the water for precision work where drones could not operate — locating mines lodged deep in reef structures. After marking a mine too dangerous to disarm by hand, a remotely operated mine disposal vehicle was sent down to place a charge and destroy it. The entire process was monitored on screens in real time. One mine at a time, the Navy cleared a safe corridor through the strait to restore passage for commercial shipping. #c17 #c17globemasteriii #usairforce #usmilitary #americanairpower #militarytechnology #defenseinnovation #airmobility #strategicairlift #globalstrike #rapiddeployment #paratroopers #airborneforces #aerospaceengineering #militaryaviation #forcemultiplier #digitalavionics #airsuperiority #militaryanalysis #defensesystems #usdefense #powerprojection #globalmobility #modernwarfare #jointoperations
