Sega Master System Story | Nostalgia Nerd

The Sega Master System was the console Sega launched to pit against Nintendo's NES system in Japan, America, Europe, Australia and other regions. It wasn't the original console which went up against the Nintendo Famicom; that honour went to the SG 1000, however it's weak abilities meant Sega needed something bigger, something better. The Master System was meant to be that console, and although technically superior in many ways, it was late to the market in most regions. However, Europe, Brazil and Australia were regions were the console succeeded, and succeeded well. This video explores the early years of Sega Enterprises, through the 70s, 80s, 90s and even present day where the Master System still enjoys a continued audience courtesy of TecToy.
