In this episode, we taste, review, and rate, from NORTH COAST BREWING, in Fort Bragg, California, a spin on their flagship brew, the OLD RASPUTIN. So this brew is their BARREL - AGED OLD RASPUTIN. Named after GRIGORI RASPUTIN, who was a mystic and a faith healer, he became well know for befriending the imperial family of Nicholas II, who was the last emperor of Russia. However, RASPUTIN was also know as the "MAD MONK"! I wonder if RASPUTIN had any "barrel-aged offerings" way back when? And if he did, did he hide those barrels? You know, one needs to stay warm in the frigid winters of Russia! It also probably helps you from going stir crazy {in said cold!}!! Well, I know what will keep me warm. I nice thick blanket!!!
