A new report says Tesla CEO and tech giant Elon Musk, who will now head up President-elect Donald Trump's new Department of Government Efficiency, met this week with Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations. According to the New York Times, 2 Iranian officials called the discussions "positive"; the talks included ways to ease tension between the US and Tehran. Meanwhile, Steven Cheung, Trump's Communication Director, told the Times that the Trump team does not comment on reports of private meetings that did or did not occur. The Crown Prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, whose father was the last Shah of Iran and whose family has been in exile since the Iranian revolution in 1979, joins to tell us his thoughts on this reported meeting between Musk and the Iranian Ambassador and what it signals. Reza discusses how he thinks the Trump Administration should deal with Iran and what he thinks would be the best approach. Reza gives us a brief snapshot of what life was like in Iran back when his father was the Shah of Iran. He explains whether he thinks people in Iran want a regime change and whether he thinks it will happen. ------------ EWTN News Nightly provides the latest news and analysis from a Catholic perspective.
