Chapter 27 : The southern Lau Group, Fiji

After about a week in SavuSavu we decided to take advantage of nice weather window to sail south-east to the island of Fulaga in the southern Lau archipelago. We knew it was a beautiful place but nothing had prepared us for such a beauty. There is no hotel, no pension, no airfield, no grocery shop, no internet and therefore tourism does not exist in Fulaga. So it is among those places that one can only visit/see if one is travelling on a sailing boat. All was just incredibly beautiful with a wonderful local community. It is easily among the 2 or 3 most impressive places we have seen so far in our 2 years journey. We will certainly return to Fulaga next year when we return to Fiji and we are very happy to share our admiration with you
