►Your Audi's water pump circulates engine coolant throughout the engine, ensuring it doesn't overheat. However, it will wear out at a certain point, forcing you to replace it. A worn pump shows itself with a small coolant leak at first, before it eventually stops spinning altogether if left in place. Failing to replace it in time will lead to overheating and catastrophic engine damage. Replacing the water pump on Audi's EA888 engine is a more involved job than something like an oil change or brake service.
