Yes they are manufactured in China but the company is based out in US. Plus this came at half the price of the GoPro Hero 7 Silver (which anyway is outdated) I have been using this camera since 2 months now. Came with 3 batteries, which last really long and a bunch of other accessories which are more than sufficient. The video quality is really good if you know to play with the lights, a bit of post processing would do wonders. The EIS IS AMAZING with wide angle and all the angles below it. It gets a bit sketchy with SUPER WIDE angle. All in short. If you are looking for a good action camera, around 15k this is the one for you.
