Made with puff pastry, these will be the absolute best sticky buns you have ever put in your mouth! Easy and delicious, you'll want to make these often for family and company. The recipe is below: Filling to go into the muffin tins: Mix these two ingredients together and place 1 tablespoon into each of the muffin tin spaces.... 1-1/2 sticks softened butter 1/3 cup lightly packed brown sugar Sprinkle with roughly chopped nuts and set the muffin tin aside at this point. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F Lay out the pastry sheet on a floured surface so the "fold" lines are from left to right. On a sheet of puffed pastry (do 1 sheet at a time) brush with melted butter that has been cooled. You'll need a total of 2 tablespoons. Add 1/3 cup of brown sugar on EACH pastry sheet on top of the brushed butter you just basted on Sprinkle 1 & 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon to EACH pastry sheet on top of the brown sugar Sprinkle 1/2 cup raisins to EACH pastry sheet - if you don't like raisins leave them out Sprinkle nuts if desired, on EACH pastry sheet - optional After you've loaded the puffed pastry, starting with the end closest to you, start rolling it away from you as tightly as you can. End with or roll until the seam side is down. Trim off the uneven ends (I baked them along with the sticky buns) Divide the roll into 6 pieces and with the spiral side up, put one in each of the muffin spaces pushing them down slightly. Preheat oven to 400. Bake 30 minutes or until top is between golden brown and dark brown and they are firm to the touch. Let them cool only 5 minutes so they don't stick in the pan. Remove any nuts that stay in the tin with a spoon and place on top of each bun. Allow to cool before eating....the inside is very hot. Enjoy!!
