I consider this the "Actually" episode. No idea what got into me but I ACTUALLY say it A LOT! I love my Aventon Aventure, but I hated all the pedal strikes I was getting. I found a video where a guy was talking about going from the stock 170mm crank arms to 152mm crank arms. I gave it a shot and have loved the results since day one. I like to take my bike off-road often so pedal strikes are no fun, and actually dangerous. This video shows you the step needed to replace your crank arms. I like the gearing on my bike so I just kept the factory sprocket and put it back on. If you decide to order the 152mm crankset, it doesn't matter the sprocket size because you won't need it.
