Slow and easy will provide better results. 3/ Keep the temperature at a low simmer after adding your yarn. This will prevent the yarn from felting. 4/ Add wet yarn to the dye-pot. Wetting your yarn beforehand opens up your fibre, so it can more readily absorb the colour. 5/ Use different water sources to achieve different results. 6/ Relax and enjoy the process. 😊
