The old Giulesti stadium in Bucharest will be entirely replaced as part of preparations to Euro 2020, during which it will serve as a training venue. Will be home of FC Rapid București, one of the most successful clubs in Romania. Construction works started in May 2019 and It should be ready by the end of May 2021. The stadium will have a capacity of 14,000 seats and will offer a vast floor space of more than 40,000 m2 due to five levels of facilities being created. The planned cost is of € 33.5 million. Due to the site being spatially constrained, decision was made to create double tiers along both side with significant overhangs and rounded edges.
