This proof of concept was to explore the hypothesis of using #gpt3 for jury selection. This idea was prompted by learning of a mock jury consulting service that used real individuals, exposed them to obligations, depositions and all details of a real civil case, then asks human mock jurors to deliberate. The results would benefit case preparation and then the jury selection process. The hypothesis is that #AI could instead expose potentially hundreds of juror personas to the case, thus creating the ideal profile of the jurors needed to win a case. Then, feed actual juror card information into the system and have it choose the ideal jurors for the desired case outcome. Caveats: I am doing this in #chatgpt for a proof of concept. However, in production this would be done within an application and would use direct API calls to #GPT because content window and token limits within #ChatGPT prevent: Extended deposition loading Extended Closing Case loading Any depth of trial transcripts Also, ChatGPT has extensive filtering added that prevents it from making juror judgements. I was able to "jailbreak" ChatGPT (scrub to 7:07) by using it's own filtering against it, but hitting the langue model directly (and not through ChatGPT) would circumvent the filters. 0:00-1:15 Introduction 1:16-3:02 Juror Cards 3:03-3:35 Juror Persona Statements 3:36-5:04 Case Definition 5:05-6:30 Closing Statements 6:31-7:06 Depositions 7:07-11:27 Jailbreaking #ChatGPT ("That Being Said...") 11:28-12:53 Juror Decision Summaries for Counsel
