Making Boba drinks is easy and quick! Follow the recipe below and make your own at home today! Ingredients • Thai Tea o 2 cups hot water o 2 packets Prince of Peace Instant Thai Tea o ½ cup sugar syrup leftover from what you made for the Boba to soak in • Boba o 6 cups boiling water o ½ cup dry tapioca pearls o 1 cup brown sugar • Sea Salt Cream o ½ cup heavy whipping cream o ¼ tsp. fine salt • Topping o 2 tbsp. sweetened condensed milk Steps 1. Add the Instant Thai Tea packets to the hot water and stir to combine. 2. Place in the fridge to cool down. 3. Add the 6 cups of boiling water to a medium-size pot. If you don’t have a kettle, simply add the water to the pot and bring it to a boil. 4. When the water is boiling, add the Boba and stir continually to prevent them from sticking together. Cook according to package instructions. 5. Taste a pearl and check to see if it’s almost done to the consistency of your liking. If it’s too hard, let them simmer for a little longer and check again. The pearls will continue cooking a little more as it soaks in the next step. 6. Scoop out ½ cup of water from the pot with the Boba and place it into a medium-sized bowl. The starch content in the water will help the sugar syrup you’re going to create get thicker. Strain the rest of the water from the Boba. 7. Add the brown sugar to the bowl with the water taken from the Boba pot. Stir to dissolve the sugar and create some sugar syrup. 8. Add the tapioca pearls (Boba) to the bowl of sugar syrup. Mix to combine and coat each pearl with the sweet mixture. Set the bowl aside until you’re ready to serve. 9. In a bowl, use a hand mixer to whip the heavy whipping cream and fine salt. It’ll take about 2-3 minutes for the cream to become frothy and light, but still runny. 10. Split the Boba into two glasses, making sure to add some of the sugar syrup into the glass as well. 11. Add a few cubes of ice to the glass. 12. Pour the sweetened Thai tea on top of the ice, leaving about an inch or two at the top for the sea salt cream. 13. Finish everything off with the sea salt cream. 14. If you really want a sweet touch, drizzle some sweetened condensed milk on top of the cream to get that Thai tea flavor in every sip.
