Anyone can DIY replace lights to improve your home's look, you just need to learn how to do it safely. Remember to always turn off electricity at the source, such as the electrical breaker or remove a fuse, and always test wires to ensure no electricity is present before you ever touch a bare wire. If you have any doubt in your skill, find another qualified person to help, electricity is dangerous and not to be taken lightly. On the front of my home I am replacing the outdated brass sconce lights with a more modern dual bulk black, rectangular fixture to enhance the look against my new white siding. At the rear and side of my home I am replacing outdated motion lights with new LED flood lights which have adjustable color temperature, adjustable brightness, and the ability to turn on/off a dusk to dawn photocell feature.
